Huge new McKinney residential community kicking off next year

Real estate reporter Steve Brown featured Oxland’s Painted Tree community with its focus on engaging the great outdoors. Oxland’s Tom Woliver shared a vision of making every home a trailhead from which residents can head out to the 200 acre greenbelt, parks, trails, or the 20-acre lake.

“Plans for the community are anchored in the reality that nature is the new luxury,” Woliver said. “As we have been forced to unplug from the previous busy-ness of our daily lives, many have sought refuge in nature. This is the first major community in the region to be conceived of since the COVID-19 pandemic began, and our plans reflect the new reality for homebuyers.”
